About this Event
The first AI in Action event proved something important. When you strip away the hype, people are ready to have real conversations about AI - what works, what doesn’t, and what’s actually changing in our day-to-day work. Now we’re building on that.
This second event brings together voices from across the spectrum - from enterprise and government through to SMEs and individuals inside organisations who are quietly shaping how AI gets adopted, used and led.
With perspectives from leaders like David Flynn (enterprise, data and large-scale transformation) and insights relevant to SMEs through voices like Rye Smith, this session connects the dots between strategy and real-world application.
This is not just a business owner conversation. It is for employees, team members, advisors and leaders who are already exploring AI, influencing decisions, or stepping up to lead change inside their organisations.
What to expect
Short, sharp, practical contributions that go beyond “what is AI” and into how it is actually being applied at different levels:
- Enterprise and government perspectives on scaling AI, data and decision-making
- SME use cases that are practical, not so scrappy and immediately applicable
- Real examples of employees driving AI adoption from within teams
- Lessons learned including what didn’t work and what people would do differently
- Open discussion, not presentations at you
Who should attend?
This session is intentionally broad because AI is no longer sitting in one function or job title. It is ideal for:
- Employees exploring how to use AI in their role
- Team leaders and managers influencing adoption
- Executives and decision-makers shaping direction
- AI practitioners and technical specialists
- Business owners and founders
- Consultants, advisors and workforce professionals
- Educators and trainers supporting capability uplift
- Anyone who wants to move from curiosity to confident action
