About this Event
We will explore how artificial intelligence, both as an emerging technology and as a legal field of its own, interacts with four key domains: Arbitration, Intellectual Property, Media, and Rule of Law. The goal is to get an idea of what trends we have seen so far, identify key challenges and opportunities, and consider how the growing implementation of AI in these respective domains might influence or disrupt established frameworks and customs.
For AI & Arbitration we will hear from Dr Amel Makhlouf (Independent Counsel & Arbitrator, Paris / Management Committee Member SADRC, London), for AI & Media we will hear from Gavin Sutter (Senior Lecturer in Media Law at Queen Mary University of London), AI & Intellectual Property will be covered by Dr Noam Shemtov (Professor of Intellectual Property and Technology Law and Deputy Head of CCLS), and Lucas Anjos (Postdoctoral researcher at Sciences Po Paris) will take us through his research on the New Digital Rule of Law project.
Following these presentations, a Q&A session will open up the floor to the attendees and the experts can provide even more insights!
