About this Event
As part of the 2025-2026 Chair on AI and Social Justice - Fondation Abeona / ENS / Obvia / Université Laval, the chair holder, Dr Sasha Luccioni is organizing a conference at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris on June 9th, 2026.
This event aims to convene stakeholders from across the world working on this topic – from the researchers developing new evaluation methods, to the companies deploying these systems in real life, and the public organizations moving the needle on regulation and standardization.
The conference will feature 4 keynotes that span all phases in the AI value chain, from hardware and energy to models and regulation, as well as a series of panels that will address the most crucial topics today: where is AI research going, and does it still need more energy? How can we account for its economic and social impacts? And what is the place of activists and policymakers in this fast paced reality?
