A tractor run to raise money for 2 very special causes - to continue the excellent service Lisa’s charity Agriminds provides for the rural community and for some vital repairs needed for the church and the mission hall in order to provide up to date facilities in which Agriminds can use as a hub for the future. So what is Agriminds?
Agriminds was set up by Lisa Richardson to work with Lancashire’s farming community to support them with emotional and mental health issues. Lisa has worked closely with RABI to receive the correct training to be able to help those from the farming community and comes from a farming background herself so she knows only too well the stresses and strains farmers face each and every day.
Agriminds sits under the umbrella of Lisa’s Community Interest Company, Footle which specialises in working with under represented members of the community.
Why St. John’s Church at Calder Vale?
Charlotte’s grandfather and local legend Dave (Crasher) Brown and his family have been residents of Calder Vale and the surrounding area for many generations. The church and the mission hall are in need of some serious repairs in order keep the buildings going. Charlotte hopes that if the buildings are repaired, it would enable vital services such as Agriminds to offer a range of activities and support to the local community for many more generations to come.
