Art Break Through is an in-person workshop designed to help artists explore and develop their personal creative voice and expression with confidence.
Over the three and a half days, you will be encouraged to push the boundaries of your creativity and take your current work to the next level. Our aim is to provide you with an exciting and impactful experience of art making, where you will be able to go beyond the limitations of your current practice and truly expand your horizons. You will be encouraged to take risks, challenge yourself and explore new, exciting areas of practice helping you to take your art to new heights with complete confidence.
What’s Included?
There will be exercises and explorations including approaches to drawing and mark-making, developing tools and processes, exploring the surface, finding your inspiration, considering the context of your art and exploring practice. There will be opportunities to for outdoor sketching, working with different materials, discovering new processes in the making of work.
Teaching Approach
This is a group course of no more than 18 people. A variety of teaching methods will be used and there will be clearly structured exercises in small and large groups along with lots of opportunities for discussions and journaling.
