Join us for an evening celebrating conservation, and the next generation of skilled craft at the historic Merchant Adventurers’ Hall
About this Event

The evening will begin with the York Consortium’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), hosted by President James Grierson (open to active members). Following this, guests are invited to gather in the undercroft for a drinks reception and informal showcase with previous bursary recipients. Donors and sponsors will also be present, sharing their work and supporting the continued development of heritage crafts.

The Bursary Awards Ceremony, led by Bursary Officer Alaina Schmisseur and introduced by Chair Kibby Schaefer, will recognise and celebrate the 2026 bursary recipients.

The event will conclude with an alumni session, in which past bursary winners reflect on their unique professional journeys, the impact of bursary support on their careers, and our collective passion for supporting heritage crafts and conservation.
