We invite our members to attend the WWDN Annual General Meeting! We’ll be reporting back on what we’ve been up to this year, electing our Committee for 2024-25 and looking ahead to plans for the next 12 months. The AGM will take place on Tuesday 16th July, Arts Bar Hope Street at 7pm, followed by our summer social. Please join us for drinks and general good times from 8pm after the AGM to celebrate together ahead of our summer break.

🖤 24/25 Committee Vote 🖤
At the 2024 AGM, we will need to elect the committee for 24/25.
The roles available are:
Chairperson
Treasurer
Marketing & Publicity Officer
Choir Officer
Events Officer (NEW for 24/25!)

If you would like to stand for one of the Committee positions, please email [email protected] by Friday 12th July with a brief bio (200 words max) outlining your suitability for the role.
After hearing the mini speeches from each candidate, the membership will then vote for each role at the AGM. An email vote will also be available for any member unable to attend in person.

📃 Constitution Updates
One of the actions that the current Committee has undertaken this year is to review our Articles of Association (often referred to as our Constitution). As a Community Interest Community, this is a legally required document outlining what we exist to do and the rules under which we operate.
We have made no significant changes to our aims or to the way we work. However, we have made sure this is a more robust and detailed document so that WWDN is ready for the future and any activities we may want to undertake.
As members, we require your approval in order to make any changes to the Articles of Association. We will be asking you to approve this at the AGM, or via email beforehand if you are unable to attend.
