Learn about the benefits of buying local foods, how to use food assistance programs at farmer’s markets – including SNAP and vouchers from WIC, the Office for the Aging, and the Department of Veterans Services – and how to make the most of the Local Food Guide.Whether you’re new to farmer’s markets or looking to get more out of your visits, this session will give you practical tips, useful resources, and plenty of inspiration to shop local with confidence.
