Agentic AI for UK Environmental Research

Join us for a one-day, in-person workshop on “Agentic AI for UK Environmental Research”, hosted at the University of Exeter by the Centre for Environmental Intelligence, in collaboration with the NERC AI-for-Environment Working Group.

This workshop will bring together researchers and partners exploring how generative and agentic AI approaches can improve access to, use of, and insight from UK environmental datasets.

• Share current and recent work using agentic AI in environmental research
• Identify emerging research opportunities
• Discuss key technical, data, and methodological challenges
• Explore how NERC and other stakeholders can support this area through data access, hardware and compute infrastructure, tools and platforms and exploratory pilot projects and funding pathways

The day will focus on discussion, collaboration, and shaping future priorities for this rapidly developing area.
