📢 The Department of African and Indo-Pacific Studies at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” invites you to the academic seminar:🌍 AGENDA 2063: Challenges and Prospects for Africa’s Sustainable Development
The event is part of the initiatives marking Africa Day 2026 and will bring together scholars, researchers, and students in a discussion dedicated to the future of sustainable development in Africa through the framework of the African Union’s strategic vision — Agenda 2063: “The Africa We Want.”
A special guest of the seminar will be:
🇿🇦 Dr. ANTHONY KAZIBONI (University of Johannesburg, South Africa) - political sociologist and Senior Researcher at the Centre for Social Development in Africa (CSDA), University of Johannesburg. His research focuses on hydropolitics, social and environmental justice, migration, and energy governance. His analyses and commentary have been featured in international media outlets including BBC, CNN, and Al Jazeera.
