About this Event

Organised by the National Centre for Mental Health, Engage to Change, and in parternship with CARE (Centre for Adult Social Care Research), this selection of talks will be delivered by world-leading researchers alongside national centres and organisisations working toward better awareness of learning disabilities and autism.

Engage to Change is a project that brings together supported employment agencies who work with employers to offer paid placements, jobs, and supported internships to young people with a learning disability or autism and has helped over 1,000 young people gain employment across a seven year period.

The National Centre for Mental Health (NCMH) brings together world-leading researchers from Cardiff, Swansea and Bangor Universities to learn more about the triggers and causes of mental health problems. We aim to help improve diagnosis, treatment and support for the millions of people affected by mental ill-health every year, as well as reduce the stigma faced by many.

This hybrid event is also available to attend online.
