About this Event
This Age-Friendly, in-person employment event series is for people aged 55+ who want information about Age-Freindly work options and practical support to help them move forward.
Each session combines short employer talks with hands-on support. Attendees can learn about differnt sectors in Bristol, tips for recruitment and how interviews work, ask questions in a supportive setting, and get help with next steps. This first event is part of a wider series designed to help older jobseekers build understanding, confidence, and momentum.

This session
This session focuses on public service roles. Speakers from the NHS and Bristol City Council will explain, what it's like to work for them, the types of roles available, how recruitment works in their organisations, and what applicants can expect when applying and interviewing for public service jobs.
After the talks, there will be informal workshops offering practical employment support and signposting.
Location: Triodos Bank is off College Green and just a little further on from Bristol Central Library.
