About the event
The Age-Friendly AI initiative brings together a group of people to talk about how Artificial Intelligence (AI) shapes our lives as we get older.
What is AI? Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is when technology is designed to do tasks that usually need human thinking, like looking for patterns or making decisions – it is used in your phone, for example in predictive text or in online shopping for making suggestions.
Did this spark your interest on the topic? Take part in the initiative’s Citizen's Think-In workshop in Wood Quay Venue on Wednesday, the 3rd of December at 11.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m. There will be tea and coffee on arrival (from 10.30 a.m.) and lunch will be provided afterwards. You will also get the chance to try out our AI demos in the workshop, including the AI Mask, AI Radio, and Art or AI exhibition.
The event provides a welcoming space for you to explore the impact of AI in different areas, including healthcare, banking processes and independent living. No prior experience with AI is needed to get involved; everyone is encouraged to participate.
About Citizens’ Think-Ins
Citizens' Think-Ins are interactive public discussion events that are part of the ADAPT Centre's #DiscussAI National Conversation on Artificial Intelligence. They're a chance to openly discuss how AI affects our daily lives and society.
We are looking forward to seeing you at our event!
