Everyone is invited to come out and be part of a fun, family-friendly day celebrating agriculture at Ag Palooza on Saturday, May 30th in historic Stockyards City.Be sure to bring the kids and experience AgVenture Land, a kid-focused area designed to spark curiosity and connection to agriculture. This interactive space invites children (and adults!) to step into the world of farming and ranching through engaging, hands-on activities. From “Touch-a-Tractor” to educational games and exhibits, kids will have the chance to learn where their food comes from and gain a deeper appreciation for the role agriculture plays in everyday life.
“We’re really excited to team up with Ag in the Classroom and other ag industry partners to bring AgVenture Land to life,” said Connie Tabor, past president of the Oklahoma CattleWomen. “I hope families will come out, let the kids have some fun, and walk away with a better understanding of agriculture.”
AgPalooza doesn’t stop there. In addition to hands-on activities for kids, the event features the Oklahoma Best Beef Cookoff, where talented cooks will showcase locally raised beef in a friendly competition that highlights both flavor and quality. It’s a true farm-to-table experience that connects consumers directly to Oklahoma producers.
Visitors can also explore the Made in Oklahoma Market, featuring local vendors offering a variety of Oklahoma-grown and Oklahoma-made products. From food items to unique goods, the market is a great way to support local businesses and take home a taste of the state.
