If you're looking for ways to connect with other business people, freelancers and those thinking of starting up, this is the place!
The BIPC Afternoon Tea is a relaxed in-person networking session for informal conversation and meeting of like-minded people and possible new business connections.
Great if you know what we do, or if you're new to the Business & IP Centre. You'll get to hear about what free events are coming up, meet other people, and make connections.
At this relaxed afternoon session, we'll let the conversation flow.

Tell us about your business!
At the beginning of the session there will be 5x5min slots for attendees to be guest speakers and take to the floor, letting the group know: what your business is, how you're doing and if you have any problems/ issues/a topic you'd like to discuss at the session.
You'll present, engage with your attendees, they'll question and present ideas and solutions for you to take away and implement.
If you would like to take part, simply put your name in the hat when you arrive, and the names will be drawn at random.
This is an in-person event at BIPC, 1st floor of Jubilee Library, Brighton.

FAQs
What is your cancellation policy?
The majority of our events are free, but places are often limited - especially for in-person events, therefore please make sure you cancel your place, if you are unable to attend. You can cancel through your Eventbrite booking or emailing [email protected].
Can I attend if I'm not a member of the library?
Absolutely! Any Sussex based business/ person with a business idea is welcome. Though we always recommend joining the library as it's free and will make accessing our databases, books and publications much easier.
