Afternoon Tea and Talk: History Beneath Our FeetJoin the Friends of the Page-Walker for a tea and talk on May 2nd, 2026, 4:30-6 p.m. The title of the talk is History Beneath our Feet: Culinary, Medical, and Household Herbs of the NC Piedmont. The tea will be an afternoon tea buffet and tea bar, and will include traditional tea savories and sweets as well as local favorites.
Our presenter, Cheryl Capaldo Traylor, is a garden consultant, herbalist, and writer. She owns Six Seasons Garden Consulting, and encourages homeowners to practice sustainable gardening methods while creating beauty and joy in their gardens.
Join us for this inaugural event! Held in conjunction with the Friends of the Page-Walker's annual Herbfest.
Tickets are $30 per person. Tickets may be purchased in-person at the Cary Theater or online. (If purchased online, a $2 Etix processing fee will be added to the total).
