Please join us for afternoon tea just as Mrs. Mahaffie may have served in 1865. Guests will enjoy 2–3 types of tea and an assortment of delicacies while learning about the history of social teas and Victorian etiquette. Guests will also have the opportunity to try their hand at a few popular Victorian games. Weather permitting, tea will be served under the trees or on the front porch of the farmhouse.Want to really get into the spirit of things? 1860s clothing is available to rent for the tea for an additional $15. Rentals can be picked up the day prior, Friday, May 1, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Mahaffie. Please bring a change of clothing to the tea on Saturday so you can change afterward. Guests renting period clothing will be contacted with additional details.
Tea only: $25 per guest
Tea and 1860s clothing rental: $40 per guest
