The League’s monthly After Hours events, formerly called First Fridays, are informal social gatherings that allow members to visit the offices of leading design practices and see work on the boards.

Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners (BBB) is a design practice based in New York City with additional offices in Washington, DC, Boston, and Miami. Led by 11 partners, the studio is recognized for its work on complex urban sites, often involving historic preservation and adaptive reuse, a focus central to its work since its founding in 1968 by John H. Beyer, Richard Blinder, and John Belle. Today, the studio’s portfolio spans architecture, interiors, campus planning, and urban design, and its expertise has been recognized with numerous awards from national to local honors for design excellence, including the American Institute of Architects Firm Award.
