Integrating the best of both worlds together under one incredible event, AFROSÓNICO will be a sonic journey where we celebrate black and queer artistry through the sounds of our roots, and the groove of our times.
With these two increible brands working together, Caribe de Gárgolas, a community that highlights and brings black and afro-descendant creators of Caribbean heritage together; and Discotropic, an event production brand and music community created by latinx queer artists with a passion for electronic music, the portal has been opened to a night like never before.
The event explores the intersection of tradition with the blending of afroelectronic beats, live instrumentation, and visionary artistry to create a one-of-a-kind experience that pushes the boundaries of genre, and imagines new possibilities for music and movements in our Island.
