JOIN US FOR AFROFUTURISM WEEK 2026!Afrofuturism Week Kickoff Party
Join The Center for Arts, Migration + Entrepreneurship and community partners at the Blount Center to celebrate the beginning of Afrofuturism Week! We'll talk about what Afrofuturism Week is all about, and enjoy music, art activities, and refreshments. Guests of all ages will be invited to participate in printmaking and comic drawing activities led by local artists. A pop-up library with local writer Terri Bailey will feature popular Afrofuturist authors and a book giveaway!
