About the Instructor:
Laety Kim is a USA-based Cameroonian dancer specializing in Hip Hop, Afro Fusion, Ndombolo, Mbole, and other African dance styles. With over 10 years of professional experience, she is known for her strong foundation in technique, musicality, and cultural authenticity—qualities that shape both her performances and her teaching style.
She has worked with major artists in Cameroon including Tayc, Charlotte Dipanda, Magasco, Locko, Stanley Enow, Daphne, Ewube, Salatiel, Mr Leo, and Kameni.
Laety has collaborated with TRYBE Dance, won the SLOY Campus Tour 2016 competition with her crew 21C Crew, and currently serves as a lead choreographer at @cameroondanceacademy. She is also part of the organizing team behind @237danceempire, one of the largest dance events in Cameroon held annually.
