About this Event
Hello everyone!!! I am Ana LLorente from Havana, Cuba, and currently a resident of Atlanta, Georgia!
Starting Wednesday, October 16 at 7 PM, I’ll be teaching Afro-Cuban dance classes at Elements Dance Studio in Atlanta.
As a professional choreographer and former professional dancer, I’m excited to share my passion & expertise with you all. To share a little about my background, I graduated from the National School of Afro-Cuban Folklore and Contemporary Dance in Havana, Cuba. You can find other info about me on my website.
Afro-Cuban is a high-energy dance form and has been inspired by the African and Spanish Culture that developed in Cuba with a special focus on Orisha dances (Yoruba, Arará), Rumba(Yambú, Guaguancó, Columbia), and Palo/Makuta/Yuka and has influenced all Latin dance styles.
Whether you're a student, teacher, practitioner, or simply passionate about Afro-Cuban dance, the classes will be suitable for dancers at all levels.
Join me for an authentic cultural experience, and forward this message to your friends and family members who may be interested! Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. I will be looking forward to seeing you all!
