A friendly, inclusive space for African women to meet, share experiences and build community through learning, laughter and support.
About this Event

Join our next African Women’s Collective session - a warm, welcoming space for women across Leeds to meet, share experiences and build confidence together.

This month we’re joined by Leeds Health Awareness, who will be giving an accessible and culturally-sensitive session about cancer screening. Many women have questions or worries about screening, and this is a chance to get clear, trustworthy information in a supportive environment.

We’ll also be sharing specific information about the support available in Leeds for women who have experienced FGM, including confidential services, community organisations and where to get help for yourself or a family member.

Alongside the informatin, there will be time to talk, connect, enjoy refreshments and continue building the brilliant momentum of this growing group.

All African women are welcome - whether you’ve been before or it’s your first time.
