About this Event
Hosted by UAL’s Black Creatives Hub, join us for an evening with Adwoa Botchey and Solomon Adebiyi, the multi-award-winning creative duo behind Adeche Atelier. They will share their creative journey and explore how African mythology, folklore and culture are represented in contemporary art and media.
The histories, cultures and stories of Black communities are often overlooked. This event offers an opportunity to learn about the rich narratives, deities and spiritual systems that shaped Africa before colonisation. Adeche Atelier invites audiences of all backgrounds to reconnect with the depth and diversity of African storytelling and to reimagine the continent’s past, present and future with pride.
