Africa, the fastest-growing population in the world, has enormous potential as a creative market but is still hampered by deep gaps in skills, infrastructure, and funding, which affects the quality of work produced and has slowed the growth of the industry, years after the first set of creative startups emerged.

The Africacomicade Gamathon is Africa's premier convention of digital creatives in the Video games,Immersive and Interactive media industry, creating a platform for them to showcase their works, network, and find opportunities for learning, collaboration, and funding.

It is a hybrid event, allowing participation from across the globe, virtually, and rounding up with a physical expo event in Lagos, Nigeria.
