Since its inception, the summit has grown from two virtual editions held during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, to four increasingly impactful in-person gatherings. The 2025 edition of the summit themed ‘Africa’s Growth Engine: Aligning the Flow of Money, Innovation, and Global Opportunities’, brought together a distinguished coalition of visionaries, innovators, and leaders from across the continent and African diaspora to explore the financial frameworks, technologies, policies and social dynamics shaping the continent – from cross-border trade, digital tax, and AI governance to data sovereignty, decentralized finance, tariffs, remittances, women’s leadership, and more.
