The Basics

Prerelease Kit: Each participant receives a Prerelease Pack, which typically includes:

6 booster packs from the new set.
A special random date-stamped foil promo card .
A 20-sided die (spindown life counter).
Other goodies, like deck-building tips or tokens (contents can vary by set).

Deck Building: This "Sealed Deck" format means you're working only with the cards in your kit—no outside cards allowed! Players use the cards from their prerelease kit to build a 40-card minimum deck, which includes:

A minimum of 23 cards from your pool (spells and creatures).
Around 17 basic lands, provided by Nerdtopia.

Gameplay

Players are paired to compete in a series of Swiss-style matches (everyone gets to play multiple rounds regardless of wins or losses).
Matches are best-of-three games, and players can adjust their decks between games using any cards from their pool.
The event is casual and fun, making it a great environment for both new and experienced players.

Prizes

Players will receive a booster pack for participating and for each match win. Additionally, a goodie bag of promo cards will be provided to all for attending.
