AIMS & OBJECTIVES
  • To educate delegates on the alignment of Aesculap products and services to Circular Economy (CE) principles and how they support hospitals in reducing carbon footprint whist delivering essential gains on efficiency and cost reduction.
  • To educate delegates through practical workshops on instrument management best practice and demonstrate how this supports CE.
  • To demonstrate how B. Braun Medical are supporting research and development in the CE field and beyond.



LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Understand why circular economy (CE) is important for sustainability and net zero.
  • Learn how best practice instrument management and the SSD’s critical mission is in tune with CE strategies.
  • Gain an insight into how CE principles can be practically implemented in theatres and SSDs, to not only reduce carbon footprint but bring other wider benefits which make ‘change’ sustainable.
  • Learn how training and education plays a key role in establishing and maintaining best practice instrument management.
  • Learn how partnerships with industry can support research on green initiatives and reducing environmental impact within hospitals.
