Surrender to gravity and control and float your way back into harmony.

Retune mind, body and breath in a relaxing hammock to the soothing sound of the GONG...

Come meet new people, and enjoy an experience in a deeply healing self care practice and sound meditation with medicinal and purifying incense to engage your senses. You will leave feeling balanced and re-energised.

The gong resonates, at 432 Hz which is backed by science showing to help lower stress levels and is known for its deeply calming and soothing effects.

Sound meditation is beneficial for

  • Creators'/writers block
  • Emotional/energetic blocks
  • Pain management
  • Relational issues
  • Stress/ Burnout
  • Personal/ spiritual development

Some experiences during soundsbaths include:

Synesthesia - the merging of two or more of the senses, being able to taste colours, hear shapes etc

Altered states of consciousness - The frequency of the gongs are able to alter our brainwave state, via entrainment, which brings our breathing and heart rate in sync with the gong. Our body temperature naturally lowers and our brainwaves move from beta (alert thinking) to alpha (day dreaming), theta and delta ( deep meditative states), which can result in experiening an altered state of consciousness, accessing the subconscious mind and our dreams.

Increased creative and intuitive thoughts - As our brainwave state merges with the frequency of the gongs, our left side of the brain (logic and analysis) quietens down, as the soundwaves are too complex for this side of the brain to analyse and compartmentalise. The right side of the brain (creative and intuitive) awakens, this is where we can experience epiphanies and access our creativity/imagination, dreams and come up with new ideas and solutions.

Emotional/energetic releases - The healing frequencies produced by the gong can bring up un expressed/acknowledged emotions and feelings to the surface that we may have repressed and not processed. Which may be experienced as the feeling of tearfulness or emotional intensity. This is nothing to be alarmed about, and not something to expect during a gong bath, but rather to be aware of that if it does, to:

1. Be kind and gentle to yourself and bring your attention back to the breath

2. Allow the emotion to move through you, observe it without judgement, identification or attachment, remembering -

' I am experiencing....this emotion' and not ' I am the emotion'

It is our judgement and non-acceptance of emotions that causes the dissonance.

Emotions are energy in motion and just want to be witnessed and integrated as part of the human experience.

When we acknowledge, allow and accept whatever comes up for us, it is then integrated and its intensity released and dissipates.
