About this Event

The Building Better Humans Project - Aella Camp for Young Women

Glenn Azar from the Building Better Humans Project is proud to present our next Level Two - Aella Warriors Program for girls and young women. An amazing event that promises to inspire, challenge and empower girls and young women to step into the best versions of themselves.

The Aim:

To empower girls and young women 11-17yo with the tools to make informed decisions, to raise their personal standards, to take ownership of their actions and behaviours so that they feel more in control of their own lives. We aim to inspire, build strength, self-confidence, resilience and fighting spirit into girls and young women so they can confidently take their place in the world and chase their biggest dreams and goals.

It’s much easier to build strong children than to fix broken adults and Glenn is no stranger to building strong children. His focus is to inspire those who attend so they think about their life and where they’re at in a different light.

Prerequisite:

To be eligible participants must have completed an Aella Warriors (Foundations) Level One program.

Girls and Young Women Only:

This camp is not for parents or guardians. You drop the girls off and pick them up. We promise you that you won't be picking up the same young person you drop off.

Pick Up and Drop Off:

Drop off on Day One is between 5pm and 6pm for a 6pm start.

Pick Up on the last day is 12pm (for talks and debrief of the program) to be wrapped up by 2pm.

History:

Glenn is a former soldier of 17 years where he served as an Aviation Evacuation Paramedic and Registered Nurse.

He is the founder and owner of Adventure Professionals, Australia's premier adventure trekking operator leading adventures to Papua New Guinea, Africa, Nepal, South America, Alaska, Russia and around Australia.

Glenn has three daughters who vary quite markedly from the artistic to the adventurous. His second daughter Alyssa is the youngest Australian to have climbed Mt Everest.

It is with this combined experience that Glenn will facilitate and run this camp for girls and young women as a tool to push them to be better versions of themselves. It's important to note this is NOT a school camp. This is a positive, personal development program aimed to inspire and up-skill your girls and young women through activities, presentations and mentorship from Glenn and his team of Taylah Robertson, Morgan Te-Oka, Asako Ono and Sam Dunk.
