Planned Parenthood is navigating a rapidly shifting political and policy landscape that presents both significant risks and opportunities for its advocacy work. This presentation will detail the challenges facing Planned Parenthood right now and will look ahead to how we are fighting for a future in which sexual and reproductive healthcare is accessible to all.Jenny Kinne is the Senior Director of Advocacy for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan, where she leads a statewide team of advocates and educators working to protect and expand access to sexual and reproductive health care. She brings a strong background in community organizing, with previous roles at Planned Parenthood and the Michigan League for Public Policy.
In addition to her advocacy work, Jenny is a small business owner and the proud founder of two independent bookstores: Books & Mortar in Grand Rapids and Antidote Books & Records in Holland. She lives in Holland with her partner, two children, two cats, a dog, and a lizard.
