This bitesize training on the PIP application form is aimed at volunteers, staff and community leaders working directly with service users in the Brighton and Hove area. The training is free and provides an overview of how to apply for PIP, including filling out the form and how assessors score.
The purpose of the training is to develop attendees' skills and knowledge to help them become 'Advice First Aiders'. This means they can go back into their community and help their service users by: sharing reliable information, signposting to specialist advice services and guiding them on the next steps they need to take.
As an Advice First Aider, you will help to direct service users to the help they need for the problems they face.
