frances mistry shares her second EP ‘messages’, which is led by a poetic new single ‘flower in the garden’. Best known for her sweet-sounding, melodic music, mistry has crafted an EP featuring four enchanting songs that emanate from the depths of her heart. To celebrate the release of the EP back in May, frances will be doing her debut headline show at the end of July in her local city of Brighton at The Folklore Rooms.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Clairo and beabadoobee, frances mistry has crafted an EP that not only showcases her potential as a new artist but also serves as a heartfelt medium for conveying her deepest emotions. Each song on 'messages' reflects her unique ability to blend alternative and indie pop elements, to articulate her authentic thoughts and feelings.

Since her debut, frances mistry has been steadily gaining a following with her delicate sound and relatable songwriting resonating with people all over. Alongside her brand new single ‘flower in the garden’, the EP features her recent releases ‘pick at my skin’, ‘our blood’ and ‘letters’, which each individually introduced this new chapter in her musical career and garnered significant praise and support.

Brighton-based newcomer frances mistry is a refreshingly original, autistic alternative-Indie artist, whose songs’ autobiographical stories are carried along by her haunting melodies and strident guitar riffs that has lauded by the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders as a “proper, authentic artist.” and long-listed in Glastonbury’s 2022 prestigious Emerging Talent competition.

The Loud LDN collective member will be a new name to many, but is making music that’s unforgettably punchy yet delicate at the same time. She cites influences such as beabadoobee, Clairo and Jay Som, but sometimes the songwriter’s melodies nod to the work of The Sundays. Mistry doesn’t doubt that her influences are enormously diverse and include everything from the band America, to The Cure to a raft of more current artists.
