Adventures With Sam - - Christmas Lights Edition!Join Sam, family and friends as we explore the Prestonwood Forest Nite of Lights. Known throughout Houston for their themed streets, this neighborhood goes all out at Christmas time.
Please bring front and back lights if possible.
This will be almost entirely on neighborhood streets. There will be lots of cars, but they are going super slow looking at the lights. In the past us bikers were going basically the same speed as the cars.
Led by 13-year-old Samuel, with safety and logistical support from parents and other H-Town #BikeLife leaders.
This is a no-drop ride - we make sure we ride at a pace everyone can stay together!
All riders and bikes welcome. This is a 'training' ride and we want to support little riders stretching their limits and riding a little farther than they usually do. Kids should be able to bike about 5 miles without stopping, and stay to the right on the road at all times.
Total route will likely be around 10 miles. If you have kids that can't quite make it, we're never too far from the starting point for you to return.
All paved roads.
