Come join us for:
A community film evening with a selection of short adventure films from the London Mountain Film Festival (LMFF) showcasing inspiring people and adventure sports like kitesurfing, kayaking, river rafting, sailing, snowboarding, climbing and mountain biking!
For the third year in a row we have hand-picked some of the best films from this year’s LMFF and would like to invite you to share inspirational stories of empowering women, inspiring the next generation, overcoming hardship by venturing outdoors and finding connection with like-minded people through community adventures.
- Kitesurfing: Meet Sarah Sadek, Egyptian native and professional kiteboarder, at her home, the Sinai peninsula, talking about being a female role model and how much it means to her to be a kitesurfer at her local spot Dahab.
- Climbing: Witness love and kindness in a country where tensions between Syrians and Lebanese are escalating: A climbing community overcomes social barriers by sharing their passion and tackling mountains together, helped by the Swiss NPO ClimbAid.
- Kayaking: Watch three young Asian-Canadian students embark on an adventure of their lifetime and what life has in store for them.
- Rafting: Listen to Elisha McArthur, an American raft guide, telling her story of braving the rapids in the Grand Canyon, from single motherhood to inspiring her teenage goth daughter.
- and more…….
This year we are raising money for The Genie’s Wish Charity, a unique charity that sprinkles a little bit of magic into the lives of those who need it most.
