Adventsfeier - Singen & Stollen - A German Carols service

As part of the Liverpool European Christmas Trail, we invite you to experience the much-loved German tradition of Advent - the four weeks leading up to Christmas. Known for our legendary Christmas baking and Christmas markets, you can escape the shopping mayhem and come and enjoy our carol service, cookies (and maybe even some Glühwein...if we haven't drunk it all already!)

Join us on Sunday, December 7th, 2025 from 4pm at the German Liverpool Church to celebrate the wonderful Advent season with our Adventsfeier - a musical mass, followed by a cuppa, Christmas cookies and yet more singing of some of our beloved Advent carols.

Admission is totally free and includes a delicious cuppa and our amazing German Christmas cookies. Please register your attendance via Eventbrite.

Please note, the church service is held in German with most of the carols in German, too. But, as the Advent spirit is universal, everyone is very welcome!
