Downtown Lancaster's nighttime living advent calendar is back for a third year! For each night of December leading up to Christmas, a different historic home reveals a unique, illuminated window design. Once revealed, windows remain lit every night. By Christmas, 24 windows in the residences around downtown Lancaster are all aglow.Three additional windows can be found at the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio (Christmas - Dec. 25), the Fairfield County District Library (Kwanzaa - Dec. 26) and the Fairfield County Foundation (Hanukkah - Dec. 26).
The Advent Window Walk is a grassroots neighborhood collaboration put on entirely by volunteers. We are currently the only residential advent window event in the United States. Thank you for your support!
Windows are lit nightly from 6-10pm, and our event runs from December 1 through the night of January 1.
An interactive list of windows as well as an event map can be found at AdventWindowWalk.com. Physical copies of our event maps are available at Destination Downtown Lancaster, as well as at businesses and organizations around downtown!
