The Advent Fair at Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School is a long-running, parent-led fundraiser. No ordinary school fair, guests have the chance to be involved in creative advent activities such as all time favorite wreaths making and dipping candles.For small children the fair is a magical experience of children's only space; meet the Fairy Queen, find a treasure at the children's bazaar, dine at the children's cafe, get your face painted and give it a go with the fishing game.
For the more adventurous there are field games and the best flying fox in West Auckland! More importantly, for food lovers we will have the best ever food! There is a vegetarian cafe buffet style where you can load your plate with sushi, curries, salad, pizza, fruit salad, desserts...there will also be sausage sizzle, ice cream, barista coffee and cake sale.
...and did we mention music? Live music from some of the best musicians the west has to offer. And try your luck with our 'White Elephant' and second hand clothing rooms! Last but not least browse the almost 60 hand selected boutique stalls selling amongst many other products - jewelry, clothes, toys, xmas decorations, fairies & angels of wool, handmade soap & shampoo, art tiles, wood turned items and many more.
The fair is a 26 year old cultural icon of West Auckland, with nationwide fans (as far as Nelson!). A guaranteed fun day for all members of the family.
