Discover tools that keep your students coming back for more .This training is for yoga teachers who wish to elevate their class experience with an ability to offer unique hands-on yoga adjusting.
Many yoga teachers aren’t trained to safely make adjustments, and thus lack the confidence to do so. This course will teach you the proper and safe way to adjust yoga poses using your hands so that you can bring depth to your teaching.
We find that students love an adjustment to help them better understand a pose, go deeper, or to create a feeling in their body that they can’t (currently) do themselves.
This course is taught by our senior yoga teachers James McIntyre, Steph Wright, and Jane Underwood, alongside Pete Miller.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
-Safe and effective adjustments
-When and when not to offer adjustments
-The art of verbal cue’ing vs. hands-on adjusting
-Assisting techniques including the energetics of assisting

FOR WHO IS THIS COURSE SUITABLE?
We welcome expressions of interest from all yoga teachers whether or not you currently hold a teaching position. There is however, certain criteria to be accepted into the course:
- Have a yoga teacher training certificate
- Have a certain level of understanding of yoga and its asanas (we won’t be teaching asanas, nor how-to-teach asana.)
- Be available for the duration of the 12 weeks (two weeks only extension allowed)
- Be able to attend the induction on Saturday May 3, 2025 (11:30am - 1pm class, followed by induction 1:30pm - 2:30pm)
- Be able to consistently attend classes as a yoga student, and classes as a teacher trainee during the 12-week period
