INSTRUCTOR: Miles Amiri
Miles Amiri (He/Him) first began taking improv classes circa 2017 in conjunction with Goodnights Comedy Club and Moonlight Stage Company. From there he took the next logical step and started doing Stand-Up Comedy at open mics around the Triangle over the following 3 years, occasionally hosting shows for touring indie bands. He eventually found home with Mettlesome Theatre in 2022.
Since then Miles has had the pleasure to do improv and sketch with a smattering of troupes across multiple theatres, states, and festivals such as San Francisco Sketchfest, Williamsburg's LastWord Festival, and Chicago's ioFest.
He's taken workshops with Bruce Philips, Jenn Bianchi, BabyWantsCandy and more. It's an indisputable fact that he loves the craft.
Miles is a residential appraiser, writer, has a voracious appetite for reading manga, and loves running improvised Dungeons & Dragons One-Shots.
