❓- True Advanced on-1 Salsa Workshops with Alex Gonzalez and Lauren Folk.ℹ️ - This Advanced Salsa Workshop will take your dancing to the max. If you have danced Salsa for a while, take your growth seriously, and are looking to connect with your fellow dance family at a higher level, this workshop is for you. As this is an advanced workshop series, it will focus on covering advanced techniques and patterns at a faster pace than normal.
📜 - Requirements: You must be tested into this class ahead of time. The best time to do this would be on any Salsa Tuesday Intermediate class with Latin Dance Jax, come find Alex Gonzalez and Lauren and let one of them test you into the class. When you test into the class, we will have your name on a list permanently. You may also message Alex Gonzalez to set up another time to test into the class ahead of time.
💵 - Price is $20. Workshops are paid in full at the door and are not included in any monthly membership or membership cards.
🕺 - Alex Gonzalez is an advanced Latin Dance Instructor, specializing in Salsa, and has been dancing it for over 10 years, and teaching Salsa for 7 years. He has learned Salsa all over Florida, and from instructors from around the US and around the Globe. He has performed Salsa and Rueda de Casino throughout his collegiate dance career and continues his dancing at the professional and competitive level.
💃- Lauren Folk is originally from Canada and she has been dancing for as long as she can remember. From ballet to ballroom, musical theater to Irish dance, West Coast swing to Bachata, she’s done it all! She trained with Fred Astaire Studios in Houston, Texas as well as with several independent studios in Canada. Lauren is excited to be a part of the Latin Dance Jax team and to share the joy of dance with the Jacksonville community.
