Workshop registration includes BOTH Tuesday Nov 25th and Thursday Nov 27th, 8am-4pm each day.
Lunch will be provided the first day of the training.

- Safety when staying, when leaving, and after leaving
- Safety Plans vs. Risk Assessments
- Stalking and Technological safety
- Special Considerations: children, pets, and workplaces
- Risk considerations to front-line and outreach staff
- Case studies, tools, and resources
- Complex Case Considerations
*Important: prerequisite to this workshop:
Introduction to Safety Planning Workshop or Equivalent--our Family Violence Educator will contact participants prior to the workshop to ensure familiarity with background concepts including the following:
- types of abuse and cycle of violence
- power dynamics and coercive control tactics
- family violence stereotypes and misconceptions
- barriers to leaving or accessing supports
- the role of stigma, shame and guilt
- effective responses to family violence
