This lead her to train with Amiea Permanent Makeup Systems in Hong Kong and Chicago and become certified in micro-pigmentation. This helped her to expand her business to include permanent make-up solutions, like microblading.

As a beauty educator, Joi has trained over 3,400 students from across the country on eyebrows and lash techniques.
