Advanced Highers: Computing Science
Weekly Group Sessions
Our tutor-led group sessions are designed for students studying Advanced Higher Computing Science (Qualifications Scotland). These structured one-hour lessons are delivered in small groups (up to five students), either in-person at our Edinburgh centre or online.
These sessions provide a focused and engaging learning environment, allowing students to explore complex concepts in greater depth than typically possible in school. They are particularly beneficial for reinforcing classroom learning, addressing gaps in understanding, and building exam confidence.
One-to-Three / Small Group – Virtual/Remote Sessions Tuition
For a more personalised experience, we offer one-to-three and small group tuition, available both in-person and remotely.
These 60-minute sessions are tailored to the individual learner, allowing tutors to:
· Adapt lessons to specific strengths and weaknesses
· Provide targeted exam preparation
· Support coursework and project development
· Build confidence at the student’s own pace
This format ensures maximum attention and a highly customised learning experience.
Advanced Highers: Computing Science - ITPT
Option 1: One to Five* (Weekly Class – Face to Face)
Starting Date :Saturday 6th June 2026
Time : Every Saturday 4:20pm to 5:20pm.
Duration : 1hour session each week.
Subject : Computing Science
Fee : £100 (monthly)
*No more than 5 students per class*
Option 2: One to Three (Weekly Remote – Online Class)
Starting Date : No Specific Dates, can be started at anytime.
Time : Please contact us either via email for the slot’s availability.
Duration : 1 hour session each week.
Subject : Computing Science
Fee : £150 (monthly)
eLearning/self-paced option will be available from July 2026. We can update you when this becomes available.
Initial Knowledge Assessment
All students begin with a diagnostic aptitude test to assess their current level of understanding. This allows us to:
· Identify strengths and areas for development
· Create a personalised learning plan
· Track progress over time
