Take your Excel skills to new heights!

We have listened to the needs of local employers and designed this fantastic 2 day Advanced Excel course. If you want to learn more about how you can adopt new spreadsheet functions to make your business more productive, why not come along? The course is free of charge for eligible businesses.

Day 1: Thursday 21 November 2024
9:00am - 4:30pm

In this session, you will be creating complex formulas spanning different worksheets and workbooks. You will:

Create and use techniques such as; Pivot Tables, Subtotals, Advanced filters, Nested functions
Create and use a wide range of functions including; LOOKUP, IF, COUNT, COUNTA, COUNTIF, YEAR, MONTH, DAY.

Day 2: Thursday 28 November 2024
9:00am - 4:30pm

Using some of the new skills learnt in Day 1, you will create a standalone workbook that contains features that will:

Ensure that the quality of the data being inserted and edited is of a high quality.
Protect the structure of the formulas, functions and formatting that we have created within a workbook.
Provide guidance and support for the end user.

To book your place simply select reserve a space, there is a form where you can select which session you would like to attend and on which day.

Cotie (Centre of Technology Innovation Excellence) is a new Business Innovation Hub based at the Petroc campus in Tiverton. We exist to support your business to grow and prosper.

The new centre and this training course is being funded by the UK Government Shared Prosperity fund, powered by Leveling Up, and supported and financed by Mid Devon District Council.
