A popular author and speaker, D. Joshua Taylor is a nationally known and recognized genealogist. He is President of the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society (NYG&B), America's second-oldest genealogical organization. Previously, Joshua volunteered in leadership positions for the Federation of Genealogical Societies and other organizations. He has been a course coordinator at the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy and the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburg. He is also the recipient of RootsTech's Distinguished Presenter Award. Joshua holds an MLS (Archival Management) and an MA in History from Simmons College.
