Advanced Certified ScrumMaster®
The Advanced Certified ScrumMaster® (A-CSM®) course is part of the Scrum Alliances Path to Certified Scrum Professional®. The A-CSM® is an in-depth two-day immersion into the world of the ScrumMaster role.
The two-day workshop is full of interactive exercises, practical real-life examples, and lively discussion and will equip you with the knowledge required to move past understanding Scrum just as process. It will help you focus on using Scrum to address the issues that arise in your Agile environment.
The class explores Agile Facilitation and Agile Coaching and how the ScrumMaster uses these skills to support the team, the Product Owner and the Organization.

Prerequisites
- Current Certified Scrum Master (CSM®) certification with Scrum Alliance.
- At least two years of work experience in a Scrum Master role in the last five years. (In order to validate work experience, it must be entered on candidate’s Scrum Alliance profile in Scrum Experience section where it is noted that this is required for Path to CSP applications.)
- Day-to-day involvement with at least one Scrum Team and a mandate to work with the broader organization.

Meet The Instructor

Kate is a dynamic Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Team Coach (CTC), with over 20 years working in Education, Operations, Project Management, IT, and Consulting.
With her finely honed communication and presentation abilities, complemented by strong planning, organizational and people management skills, Kate is a popular speaker at events. She is a motivator and encourager and is happiest when she breaks through to a client and leads them to the ‘aha’ moment.
