that have successfully learned the beginning wheel throwing technical skills, such as centering clay un to 3 pounds, and can making cylinders/bowls proficiently. During our six week classes we will introduce 4-5 different projects, that will include different advanced building techniques using the wheel, but including some hand-building and leather hard manipulation of thrown pots. The class includes one bag of clay, material, and firing. (Open to all ages high school and up.)
All students are encouraged to come to open studio time to put extra time in their own projects. All basics will be covered in class, but the finalization of each project will depend on each student’s goals and involvement.
