Topic: Advanced Agile Coaching – Professional Coaching for Agilists
This course is a comprehensive Professional Coaching course specifically designed for people working in Agile environments and looking to accelerate their Agile adoption. The instructor, Damon Poole, is an experienced Enterprise Agile Coach, and your fellow students will also come from Agile backgrounds. Example scenarios used in the course are all drawn from real examples that took place in Agile environments.
There are 45 hours of training to be held on Dec 4th to Dec 10th, 2021.
The course will teach you all of the core competencies of being a Professional Coach, such as creating a coaching agreement, active listening, powerful questioning, using presence, and helping people design their own methods for holding themselves accountable. You will also practice everything you learn with fellow participants, get feedback from the instructor, and receive 10 hours of mentor coaching from a PCC level coach. This course is an ACSTH training program accredited by the International Coaching Federation.
Audience: Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, RTEs. Anyone involved in an Agile adoption effort interested in learning how coaching can help with that adoption.
Additional : Professional Coaching for Technologists
This is a new Professional Coaching training program with 65 coach-specific training hours. This add-on program is not yet accredited by the ICF, but has started the process to get there (anticipated earliest date April 2022). In consideration of the program’s accreditation status, we are offering it at a reduced rate of $995(USD). After accreditation it will be priced at $3,995. Once accredited, you'll be able to apply the 65 hours toward a PCC credential.
Although most coach training programs are intended for people from any walk of life that want to create a business coaching people 1-1, this program is specifically designed for any role in a technical environment. Typical roles include Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, RTEs, tech leads, project managers, managers - anyone that is helping to bring about change as part of their role.

Damon has provided Agile coaching and training for thousands of people at companies such as EMC, Capital One, Oanda, Ford, and Fidelity. He speaks frequently at Agile Alliance, Agile New England, Kentucky Fried Agile, Atlassian Summit, Agile and Beyond, Agile Toronto, and others. As a coach of coaches at Eliassen, Damon led the Agile Delivery team which grew to hundreds of Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches in the field.
He created Eliassen’s Agile Transformation approach and the training content across all aspects of Agile, and led the effort to provide opportunities for the coaches to advance in their coaching journey. This background gave Damon the opportunity to learn from hundreds of Agile Coaches in an enormous variety of client environments and from the wider international Agile community.
Damon is an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach, International Coach Academy Certified Professional Coach, and is an ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching.
