This comprehensive four-day course is designed to provide healthcare, fitness, and movement professionals with an in-depth understanding of adult spine disorders through the lens of anatomy, biomechanics, injury mechanisms, pain science, and functional movement analysis.
The program integrates evidence-based lectures with hands-on workshops and practical exercises to bridge theory and real-world application.
Participants will explore the fundamental biomechanics of the upper extremities, thoracic cage, spine, and pelvis, and understand how these systems interact during athletic and daily functional activities. Emphasis is placed on posture, load transfer, breathing mechanics, and movement efficiency as key contributors to spinal health and performance.
The course progressively advances into injury mechanisms, pain science, and client assessment strategies applicable to both athletic and general populations. Special focus is given to back pain and adult scoliosis, addressing common misconceptions, differentiating pathological versus postural conditions, and applying biomechanical principles to exercise selection and
modification.
Through case-based discussions, group activities, and simulated client assessments, participants will gain practical skills in movement analysis, injury prevention, corrective exercise strategies, and safe decision-making for clients with spine-related conditions. This course equips professionals with the knowledge and confidence to manage adult spine disorders effectively
within fitness, sports, rehabilitation, and recreational settings.
